Baines Care offers a variety of domiciliary care support services.
Our care and support are person-centred with you as the user at the heart of the service. At Baines Care, we know that you want someone who genuinely understands your personal needs. We aim to help promote and maintain your independence for you and your family to enjoy the quality of life you deserve. With this as the aim, our Carers will help you to do the things that are important to you on a daily basis that may have become a setback. We will work closely with yourself, family members, friends and other professionals such as Occupational Therapists on the support you require and discuss with you about how we can improve your short and long-term requirements.
How Baines Care meets your personal care needs.
You will be given a full and free no obligation assessment for your personal care needs. Our personalised supported range of home care services can be tailored to suit yourself:
- Personal Care/Hygiene – to help/assist with washing, bathing, showering, shaving, hair washing and grooming
- Getting in and out of bed
- Dressing and undressing
- Oral Care
- Medications & collecting medications
- Help and assistance with paying bills, collecting money or pensions
- Making drinks
- Meal preparation & serving
- Food shopping
- Help with catheter bag, peg feed or stoma bag
- Incontinence care
- Using the toilet
- Domestic help around the house i.e. cleaning & tidying up washing & ironing
- Fully qualified hairdressing and barber services available
- Accompanying you to and from appointments – hospital, dentist, doctors and any other social activities
- Companionship
- Respite services
- Help with your pets – walking your dog
- Gardening
- Outings
- Holiday escorting service
If there is anything else you require help or assistance with, please feel free to give us a call.
We have produced a Service User Guide which will contain all relevant and useful information and contact details which will be left at your home for your reference. You can contact us at any time during office hours and we also have an out of hours on-call service should needs be to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about your care needs.
At Baines Care, we offer care 365 days a year 7 days a week. We provide care when you most need it and for however long you require. You may need help and assistance every day with personal care morning and night, or maybe just meal preparation times, but nothing is too big or too small for us to help and assist you with. You may require help once or twice a week with domestic duties such as housework, washing, ironing and food shopping.
We will then arrange a home visit with a time and date that’s best suited to you and discuss the details of your Individual Care Plan. We can then discuss in more detail about visit times, length of time and roles of our Care Team.
We prefer for our Care Team to meet you for an introduction before your care commences with us. Once our services have started with yourself we will review your ongoing care and keep in contact with yourself, family, friends or any other professionals involved to ensure that you are happy with our services and our Care Team.
